Campgrounds or Holiday Parks are commercial operations that provide a safe and well-equipped camping experience.
We are very sad to read your accusing and unfounded posts. Unfortunately, we are guilty of faults that Union Lido does not have. What upsets us is to know you do not trust us. Your thought that we can put the life of our precious children in danger. Yes, because the games and slides that someone insinuates to be dangerous and deadly are first of all used by our children, yours that we feel like ours.
Union Lido has been the first 5-star camping in Italy. It has always considered safety as one of the most important requirements. You complain if we “force” you to be positioned in a certain way on the pitch for security issues, but every year we invest thousands of euros in the fire protection system, hiring 3 firemen 24/7, we have a team of 9 people for the evacuation and firefighting 24 hours a day. A squad composed by 42 lifeguards, who from morning to evening are vigilant even in an often severe and criticized way, ensuring promptness of intervention and security. A child was saved from drowning two weeks ago. Last year a lady has been successfully revived. We provide for free a 24-hour service with a doctor, a paediatrician, a veterinarian. We managed in a few days to recover from the most serious environmental disaster that has ever affected our territory and our structure. With the right measures, we were able to drastically reduce accidents. Unfortunately, the use of games inevitably leads to contusions, small bruises and injuries. If you go skiing do not you fall? If you go horse-riding? if you play football? In conclusion, gentlemen, we only ask you to put your trust on us. The games are all certified. Maintenance is regular, otherwise we would not have the authorization for using them.
So please, do not spread a so unfair propaganda just by hearsay. Help us, rather, to make your holidays more carefree.
Before I went to Camp Sweyolakan, I didn’t know what I wanted in life; But then I came here and saw what Camp Fire did.
We are about to travel aus in our 4×4 with our two cattle dogs and I’m thinking a ring of fire around my campsite for keeping the snakes out. I dont know whether to laugh or cry but this is freaking me out to the point of fear for myself and the dogs. Id ssssssso be the likely one to be bitten and die from a snake bite in Sumo years. I thought I’d give you a bit of background. Many years ago, when John and I were in our 20’s, we bought a house and had full-time jobs here in PDX. We were doing the house thing, going to Home Depot thing, collecting treasures thing. In the mix of all of that John was diagnosed with Melanoma, requiring lymph nodes to be removed in order to see if the cancer spread. He was 26. Waiting for the news of whether or not the cancer cells had spread was a scary experience for us, but also something that taught us to appreciate one another and life itself. Life is precious and it can go in an instant.
